Surviving him are his wife Mae Wheeler Rhoney of Ruffin,SC a son Carl B. Rhoney of Summerville, SC a Daughter Dorothy R. DeWitt of Tupelo, Mississippi---two brothers Sidney A Rhoney of Jacksonville, Florida, Scott Rhoney of Georgia, ---two sisters Belle R. Hayes of North Charlston, SC and Kate Pope of Lumpkin California---nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren
