Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard V. Golden, Sr.; siblings, Reba Mae Judd, Judith Ann Hopkins, Betty Jo Tirey, Barbara Etta Mainous, and Russell Lee Price.
Ruby is survived by her children, Tina (Michael) Sills and Howard V. (Eve) Golden, Jr.; grandchildren, Angel Starr Todd (Michael), Steven Lee (Melinda) Griffin, Amy Melissa (Mike) Clark, and Chelsea Jane Sills (Rick); great grandchildren Zachary, Alexandria, Connor, Oliver, Destiny, Eva, and Willa; great-great grandchildren, Brady and Elijah; sister, Billie Romaine Sandlin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Ruby attended Airway Baptist Church in Riverside in years past. She will be remembered for being an extraordinary and dedicated mother. She loved her family immensely. Ruby was known as the "neighborhood mother." All of the kids in the neighborhood hung out at the Golden residence because she was so wonderful.
