Sybil Nolen, 89, went home to meet her Lord Jesus on December 16, 2021.
Sybil was born January 27, 1932 in Rusk, TX. She married Bobby Nolen in 1956 and together they raised three children in Palestine, TX. Sybil was a talented seamstress and a wonderful mother, homemaker, and friend. She was a member of Evangelistic Temple in Palestine. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Nolen; father, Oscar Lee Scott; mother, Dellia Lee (Beasley) Scott; brothers, James and Samuel Scott; son, Clint Nolen; and grandson, Michael Nolen.
She is survived by her son, Mike Nolen; daughter, Lavana Nolen; brother, Randall Scott; sister, Glenna Starkes; grandson, Brandon Nolen; and her beloved nephew and nieces: Rhome Starkes, Laranda Matlock, and Randi Jean Scott.
A visitation will be held from 5-7 P.M. on Monday, December 20, 2021 at Bailey & Foster.
