Happy was 8 weeks old when we got him from B&G Kennels. He was one of two males in the litter. He loved playing in the water, snapping at water coming out of the hose, chasing leaves that were thrown off the roof, sleeping on the bathroom or kitchen mats, and catching McDonalds fries when they were tossed his direction. But what Happy didn't like were thunderstorms, fireworks, and gunshots.

Happy didn't really want to eat one evening, but finally decided to later on. The next morning, he refused to eat. I even picked him up and carried him over to his dish. No way. He stood up, took a few steps, and laid down. He threw up a few minutes later with a very high pitched noise, and off to the vet. I had to carry him to the car, as well as into the vets office. The vet tech took one look at him, and carried Happy to the back. When I spoke to the vet, she said he was in terrible shape. The decision to let him go was made. He was euthanized at 2:45 pm CST December 16, 2021 with myself, Braden and Deane present. He was a good boy, very loving, and will be missed terribly. He was my "hum dog"!

Note from vet: Both situations we talked about cancer, and autoimmune can come on very quickly. It does not surprise me that with either conditions his blood work could have looked normal just a couple months ago. It simply came on recently and was aggressive for him.
