Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Monroe South ward chapel for Edward Bredsguard, 65, well known mail carrier on the R.F.D. route, who died Saturday morning at the Sevier Valley Hospital of complications causes from heart trouble.
Mr. Bredsguard was born in Obornat, Aarhus, Denmark, in 1873, a son of Jacob and Ann Nielson Bredsguard. He immigrated to Utah when he was 17 years of age and located at Richfield. Two years latter he moved to Monroe, where he continued to reside.
Surviving Mr. Bredsguard are his widow, Mrs. May Jefferies Bredsguard of Indiana, and one son, Heber. Surviving by two former marriages are the sons and daughters: Mrs. Leona Johnson, Remo and Walter Bredsguard of Monroe and Mrs Blenda Johnson of McGill, Nevada. Mr. Bredsguard's first wife was Olga Nielson, whom he married in 1894. After her death he married Miss Laura Hicks in 1901. She also preceded him in death, and he was married to Mrs. Jefferies in 1910.
