Annora married Vaughn William Gordon on October 24, 1942 in Miami Beach, Florida. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple. Annora loved life and loved being surrounded by family and friends. She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many callings throughout her life. She especially enjoyed teaching where she could use her creativity to enhance and bring special meaning to her lessons.
Annora is survived by: two sons, R. Bruce (Sue) Gordon, Boise Idaho; V. Scott (Diane) Gordon, Glendale, Arizona; a daughter, Karen Dodge, Salt Lake City, Utah; by 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, two brothers, Quinn M. Eskelsen, Brigham City, Utah, Richard (Virginia) Eskelsen, Perry, Utah, two sisters, Marion (Les) Dunn, Brigham City, Utah, and Karen (Richard) Cannon, Logan, Utah. Annora was preceded in death by her husband, an infant daughter, Elizabeth, her parents, a brother R. M. Eskelsen, and a sister, Elizabeth (Liz) Peters.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 21st, at the Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 E. 200 S., Brigham City, UT. A Viewing for Family and Friends will be held on Thurs. from 6-8 pm and on Fri. from 12 noon-12:45 p.m. at the Gillies Funeral Chapel.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
