J. Stroud Watson died Oct 3, 1984 at the age of 73. He was the son of the late Joseph Johnston Watson and the late Lula Katherine (Durham) Watson. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Alliston (Cooke) Watson, and by his sister Harriet Durham Moody and his half sisters (Alma Watson) Threatt and Mabel (Watson) Lawrence and his half brother Lawrence Edward Watson. He is survived by his son Joseph Stroud Watson Jr and his daughter Margaret Todriff. He will be entombed in the Mausoleum at South Palms Memorial Gardens, North Myrtle Beach, SC.
