Donald Joe Bennett, 59, of Pontiac, IL died Sunday, December 5, 2021, at 9:04 p.m. at his home.
His services will be Thursday, December 9, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. at Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home in Pontiac with Glenn Rodell officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 9, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following services.

Don was born August 12, 1962, in Fairbury, IL to Walter and Genevieve (Lane) Bennett. He married Victoria Hartley on October 9, 2004, in Pontiac, IL. She survives in Pontiac.
Surviving are his children, Justin (Phaedrea) Senter, Benjamin Senter, all of Pontiac, IL, Stephanie Bennett of Pontiac, IL, Robert Payne of Kentucky, Cameron Shemwell of Kentucky, Daniel Bennett of Kentucky, Austen Bennett of Georgia and Donald J. Bennett Jr. of Kentucky, as well as many grandchildren.
Also surviving are brothers, James Bennett of El Paso, IL and Johnny J. Wheaton of Fairbury, IL; sisters Georgia Wheaton of Piper City, IL and Barbara Boner of Kentucky, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Kenny Wheaton and Walter Lane.
Don attended Fairbury High School and worked in tree trimming in the Pontiac area for many years.
Don's favorite pastime was fishing. He was a very loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be greatly missed.
