Tensy Huffman Dies Here Sunday
Tensy J. Huffman, 87, died at 10:50 p.m. Sunday at the Sedan City hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Baptist church in Chautauqua with the Rev. Ivan Davis officiating. Interment was in Oak Hill cemetery.
She was born Sept. 21, 1886 in Indian Territory, Okla. to Jack and Betty (Quinton) Victory. She lived in Chautauqua county for 64 years.
She married John W. Huffman on Sept. 10, 1907 at Collinsville, Okla. He preceded her in death June 6, 1947. One son also preceded her in death in 1945.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Glee Anderson of Chautauqua and Mrs. Helen Dean of Agra; four sons, Clint and Gean both of Wichita; Jack and Dean both of Ponca City, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Susan McDonald and Mrs. Donna Morgan both of Oklahoma City, Okla.; two brothers, Charles Victory of Tahlequah, Okla., and Sam Victory of Muskogee, Okla., 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
