Edward P. Haefner
Amboy, Feb. 16--Edward Peter Haefner, 61, died Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at his home at the north edge of Amboy. He had been ill since Aug. 1. Funeral services will be held at 1:3- p.m. tomorrow at the residence and at 2 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran church, Amboy, the Rev. C. L. Wagner officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Repose cemetery. He was born Dec. 17, 1884 in Brooklyn township to John and Elizabeth Malfeld Haefner, and was married to Martha Schroeder Nov. 15. 1911. She survives him.
