Lucille "Lucy" Evelyn Lewis of Traverse City, Michigan, age 89, passed away on the morning of November 28, 2021, at the Cherry Hill Nest. Lucy was born on the family farm in Kingsley, to Melvin and Evelyn (Egeler) Riley on September 20, 1932.

She graduated from Kingsley High School in 1950, and in the following year she married Elbridge Aldridge. Together they raised five children.

In 1981, Lucy was married to Charles G. Lewis.

Lucy loved to crochet, sew, shop, doing puzzles, playing BINGO, going to the casino, and travelling to Florida. She also loved planning family gatherings and having everyone all together.

Lucy is survived by her five children, Denis (Robin) Aldridge, Cindi (Tedd) Carlisle, Luann (Alan) Clark, Evelyn Aldridge Santoriello, Todd (Sonya) Aldridge; 27 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; special sister-in-law Donna Martin; longtime friend Eileen Dobson; and many nephews and nieces.

Lucy was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; three siblings, Orville Riley, Katherine Hoxie, Shirley Riley; son-in-law Frank Santoriello; in-laws, Tom and Ursula Aldridge, Basil and Wynola Aldridge, Dolph and Dovie Aldridge, Evelyn (Orville) Riley, Ruth and Bill Roop, Varden and Gerald Akers, Julia and Edward Roop; and longtime companion Frank Maxwell.

A private family graveside service will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery, Blair Township, MI.

A celebration of life will take place at Summit City Grange Hall, 3060 Factory Street in Kingsley, Michigan on Friday, December 10, 2021, from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m.
