Mary Alice Emery, 84, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Ocala Regional Medical Center, Ocala, FL. She was born on November 19, 1935 in Fredonia, KS & was the daughter to the late Paul & Vivian (Blakely) Rusk.
Having grown up in Washington state & living in Pennsylvania for over forty years, Mary & her husband William moved to Dunnellon from Prosser, PA. She was a retired bookkeeper & secretary for an insurance company & most recently her husband's construction company. Mary was a member of First Baptist Church in Dunnellon. She enjoyed cooking, hospitality & spending time with her family.
Mary is preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Hetherington; two sisters & one brother. She leaves behind her husband, William Emery, Dunnellon; a son & a daughter; eight grandchildren & fourteen great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 11am at First Baptist Church in Dunnellon. Memorial contributions can be made in Mary's memory to: Operation Smile, 3641 Faculty Blvd. Virginia Beach, VA 23453.
