Barbara A. Lange, 83, of Lafayette, IN, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Five Star Residences.
She was born on June 7, 1938, in Lafayette, IN to the late James and Frances E. (Dexter) Crowell.
Barbara attended Oakland Elementary where her sister Jane Crowell later taught kindergarten. Barb graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School in 1956.
On October 5, 1968, she married Oliver P. Lange in Lafayette, IN. He preceded her in death on April 25, 2016.
Barbara worked as a X-Ray Technologist starting at Home Hospital for eight years and then for Arnett Clinic for 33 years before retiring in 1997.
She was a member of Congress Street United Methodist Church and enjoyed Purdue Football and Basketball as well as the Chicago Cubs and Indianapolis Colts.
Surviving are one daughter; one brother; and several nieces and nephews.
Barbara was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Crowell; and a sister, Jane Crowell.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Soller-Baker West Lafayette Chapel, 1184 Sagamore Parkway West, West Lafayette, IN with Rev. Dr. Rachel Metheny officiating. Burial will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette, IN.
