Services for Mrs. Lula Lee Tharp Ray were held Sunday, June 4, at the Milligan Springs Church with Alvin R. Smith officiating. Mrs. Ray passed away June 3 at the Eupora Clinic. Lee Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Ray was born in Montgomery County in 1892 and married W. G. Ray in 1911. She was a member of the Pine Forrest Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of Eupora, two daughters, Mrs. Wilton Miller, Eupora, Mrs. Kermit Bridges, Merigold, two sons, W. D. Ray and Maston Ray, Eupora, two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Sellers, Stewart, Mrs. Bammie Land, Arkansas, two brothers, John Henry Tharp, Jackson, Dudley Tharp, San Antonio, Texas and 11 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Destin Miller, Robert H. Wise, R. V. Miiddleton, Omar L. Bailey, Red Nabors and Belton Perrigin.
