--Barbara married Robert James Kistler on July 3, 1947 in Mecklenburg County. They were wed 74 years. They were parents of 3 children. Son Gary Kistler preceded her in death. Surviving children Greg and Gail. She had 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
