Dorothy Nell Morgan, 89, passed away December 3, 2021, at University Of Kansas Health System - Great Bend Campus, Great Bend. She was born August 22, 1932, in Ballinger, Texas, to Buna Doc and Jessie (Yarnell) Camp. Dorothy married Burl Dean Ford May 2, 1951, in Ballinger, Texas. He passed away April 23, 1976. She then married Alton Lee Morgan.

Dorothy, a resident of Great Bend since 1999 coming from Clovis, NM, was a long time dedicated employee of Wal Mart. She was of the Baptist faith, an avid KU and Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed crocheting and woodcrafts.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Burl Dean Ford and Alton Lee Morgan; two sons, John Ford and David Ford; and a brother, Buddy Doc Camp.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Bryant Funeral Home, with Pastor Larry Schumacher presiding. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Great Bend, Kansas. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 8, 2021, with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., all at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
