He was ready to be with his Savior.
Orville was born January 7, 1939 in Muskegon to Orville Sr. and
Mary (VanderKooi) Gee. He married his neighborhood sweet-
heart Christine Bellah on June 28, 1958. They enjoyed 35 years
together until she died of cancer of 1993. On May 21, 1994 he
married Nancy Larson and they had 27 wonderful years
together. He was a lineman in charge at Consumers Power Co.
for 43 years, retiring in 2004. A member of Sheridan Drive
Baptist Church for over 60 years, Orville was also an AWANA
and Boys Brigade leader, Sunday School teacher and Deacon
for most of those years. After retirement, he mowed the 5 acre
field at church faithfully.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a baby brother and
sister: two sisters Doris Wilson and Evelyn Furbush; two
brothers Norman and Carl: five brothers-in-law; two sons-in-
law Frank Gauldin and John Schindlbeck; and a great grandson
Marco Sanchez.
He is survived by his wife Nancy; 3 sons Craig (Donna) Gee,
Mike (Kim) Gee, Ray (Kristi) Gee; daughter Laura Gauldin:
two step daughters Janice (Lynn) Heinlen and
Carol Schindlbeck; four sisters, Irene Rasey, Virginia Galindo,
Catherine Purcell, and Sandra (Louis) Benedict;
two sisters-in-law Jackie Gee and Sue Gee;
12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, and one on the way.
A private graveside service with burial will be at
Sunrise Memorial Gardens with a memorial service to be
announced later in the spring of next year.
