Chester ("Chet") Allen Crockett, 55, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away on November 29, 2021, after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by family and friends. He was born to the late Stanley and Wavalene Crockett on February 6, 1966, in Lexington, KY. Chet graduated from Bryan Station High School in 1984. He later graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science in Police Administration and Master of Science in Loss Prevention and Safety. He married the love of his life in 1989, Beth Crockett, who survives him. Chet is also survived by his beloved daughter Madison Crockett, mother Wavalene Crockett, sister Norma Crockett, mother-in-law Linda Merrick Watts (Don Watts), sister-in-law Tiffani Borowick, brother-in-law Scott Borowick, nephew Cameron Borowick, and niece Kyndall Borowick. Chet was a renowned business owner. As the Founder and CEO of Carolina Forest Rental Properties, he was among the most determined entrepreneurs in Myrtle Beach, SC. He inflicted his love for friends and family on all who knew him and cherished the moments they shared. His one wish was to share the magic of Walt Disney World with his future grandchildren — It goes without saying, he'll be walking down Main Street USA for years to come. Services will be conducted at 2:00pm Monday December 6, 2021 at Kerr brothers-Main St. with burial to follow in the Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7pm Sunday.
