Elton William Lamb, 71, of Marlow, Oklahoma passed from this life on Easter Sunday April 15, 2001 at his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Lamb will be laid to rest on April 19th in Marlow under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home. Mr. Lamb was survived by Esther, his wife of 52 years, 4 daughters, 1 son, 12 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and 2 sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents and his twin brother. Mr. Lamb attended Marlow Schools & Purdue University, ending his career as County Commissioner of District 1 for Stephens County, Oklahoma. The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to all the physicians at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and attending. nurses at Methodist Hospital during Mr. Lamb's 7 year challenge to overcome cancer and heart disease.
