Mrs. Stephens died Sunday in a Nacogdoches hospital.
She was born March 20, 1915 in Gilmer to Ramah and Laura Inez Painter Oliver. She graduated from East Texas State College in Commerce. She was a homemaker, a member of First Methodist Church and very active in Nacogdoches Duplicate Bridge Clubs.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, John O. Stephens, Nacogdoches; two sons, John David Stephens and Richard Oliver Stephens, both of Nacogdoches; one brother-in-law, Billy Stephens, Sherman; one sister, Mrs. Wilma Musgrave, Dallas; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Faye Stephens, Richardson; and four grandchildren, Stephanie Stephens, Mark Stephens, Jennifer Stephens and Scott Stephens.
