Perry T. "Tom" Lyons, Sr. passed away on November 20, 2021 at his home in Wake, Virginia. He was 68 years old. He was predeceased by his wife, Leslie J. Lyons, his brother David Lyons, and his parents Roscoe and Ruby Lyons.
He is survived by his son, Perry T. "Tommy" Lyons, Jr.; his daughter Heather Lyons and her husband John David Gardy; and his grandchildren, Perry T. "Thomas" Lyons, III, Abigail Lyons, Meredith Gardy, and Tabitha Gardy.
Tom was born and raised in Hampton, Virginia and graduated from Kecoughtan High School. He retired from a career as a firefighter for the federal government. He was a diehard Green Bay Packers fan, and enjoyed bicycling and model railroads.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leslie J. Lyons Memorial Scholarship at Rappahannock Community College, in care of the RCC Educational Foundation, P.O. Box 923, Warsaw, Virginia 22572 or online at https://www.rappahannock.edu/foundation.
A graveside service will be held 1:30 pm on Tuesday, Dec. 7th at Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Topping.
