Carl Wayne Cullins, 74, of Borden, Indiana, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021. He was born on September 7, 1947, to Harlan and Gertrude (Kaufman) Cullins

He was a retired firefighter for the City of New Albany, where he earned the rank of Captain after 32 years of service. Carl was the former owner of Cullins Electric and the current owner of Circle C Ranch, a business that he was proud to have built with his own hands. He enjoyed fishing, music, line dancing, and tinkering on the farm. Carl was also a member of the Retired Police & Firefighters Association, as well as the Knights of Columbus.

In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his children, Michael Cullins and Melissa Goebel.

Carl is survived by his loving companion, Ruth Rawlings; children, Carla Cullins (Tracy) and Jerry Cullins; stepchildren, David Rawlings, Tiffany Booth, Christina Jessey, and Samantha Morris; niece, Sheila Bobay; and granddaughter, Cameron Milligan; along with 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 6, 2021 and on Tuesday after 9:00 a.m. His funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Forest Grove Cemetery.
