Thomas M. Auten, 85, Kokomo, Indiana passed away on November 30, 2021. He was born on October 9, 1936 in Pontiac, Michigan the son of Carl and Bertha (Lozier) Auten. Tom worked at Marsh, was a milkman at Med-O-Bloom Dairy and worked at Chrysler for many years before retiring in December of 1995. He was a bowler, loved fishing, and wood-working.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Katherine Cornwell; 4 brothers; 3 sisters; 2 step-daughters Kym and Robin.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Loretta Garner Auten; children, Richard Auten, T. Michael Auten, James Auten; grandchildren, Michelle, Jessica, Josh, Danielle; 6 great-grandchildren; and sister, Vada Logan; step-grandchildren, Lorre Ann, John, Michelle, Adam, Ashlei, Laure; step-great-grandchildren, Patrick, Jesse, Tyler, Brayden, Kaelyn, Marlei; great-great-step-grandchildren, River, Aydan, Noah.

Visitation will take place at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Road, Kokomo, IN on Monday, December 6, 2021 from 1:00 pm until the start of funeral services at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Joan of Arc/St. Patrick Thrift Store and Poor Claire.
