James E. Ware, age 93, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at his residence in Lockport, IL. He was a World War II Veteran who proudly served in the Navy. James is survived by his dear children, Roy W. Ware, James W. (Eileen) Ware, and Charlotte (Boyd) Hampton; cherished grandchildren Danielle (Matt) Webb, Aimee L. Larsen, Christian J. (Stephon) Baker, Kalep M. (Bast) Hampton, Allyson M Ware, Aaron M. Hampton, and Rachel D. Hampton; five loving great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; loved sister Linda (the Late Van) Beasley; sister-in-law Janie (the Late Roy W.) Ware and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Edith; parents James and Elvie Ware; dear grandson James C. Ware; and sister Margie N. (Pat) Baker. Visitation Friday, December 3, 2021, from 4-8 pm, at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S Hamilton St., Lockport, IL, 60441. Funeral Saturday, 10 am at the funeral home.
