Betty Gay is survived by her sons, Eddie B. Coghill and wife, Sandra, of Roxboro and John M. Coghill and wife, Connie, of Buffalo Junction; daughter-in-law, Judy P. Coghill as well as 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Bailey Junior Coghill and Rev. Victor H. Coghill; sons, James Bailey "J.B." Coghill and Terry Coghill; brothers, Lawrence W. "Jack" Burnett, Henry H. Burnett, Robert E. "Dick" Burnett, John B. "Ben" Burnett and James R. "Hoat" Burnett, Jr. and sisters, Lillian Burnett, Mildred B. "Cindy" Arrington, Frances B. Maddox, Virginia B. Farrish and Evelyn B. Murray.
A private graveside service will be held at Gravel Hill Cemetery. The Reverend Rodney Barwick will officiate the service.
