Mrs. Shirley A. Ducote, age 74, of Pollock, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Friday, November 11, 2016 at her residence.
Mrs. Ducote was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Shirley worked at Central State Hospital for over 25 years, teaching and helping children was her passion. She was also a beautician for many years and she was a member of Kingsville Baptist Church, Ball, Louisiana.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Joe Ducote of Pollock; one son, Jody Lee Ducote (Tiffany) of Pollock; two daughters, Connie Patterson of Pollock and Vickey Span (Marvin) of Oakdale; one brother, Charles Henry Antley (Mary) of Columbia; two sisters, Jo Humphries of Winnsboro and Erlene Box (Jackie) of Mangham; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Services for Mrs. Ducote will be announced at a later date.
