TISHOMINGO -- Services for Winona Parker will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Smith Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. Kenneth McCarthick and Perry Crisp officiating. Interment will be at Tishomingo Cemetery.
Mrs. Parker died April 6, 1997, in the local hospital. She was born Oct. 31, 1907, at Bullard Chapel, to Joseph R. and Gertrude Elkins Bynum.
A lifelong resident of Johnston County, she married George Parker here in 1933 and was employed for many years at Johnston Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Lois Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Nephews will serve as bearers.
