Mrs. Katie Connie Richardson, age 87, of Lake City, Florida died Saturday, Nov. 27, at her residence following a long illness. Mrs. Richardson was born in Jacksonville, Florida and resided in Ft. Benning, Georgia before moving to Lake City, Florida in 1970. She worked as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) with the Hamilton County Hospital, Jasper, Florida and Shands Home Health Care, Lake City, Florida until her retirement. She was a member of the Watertown Congregational Methodist Church but also attended First Advent Christian Church. She enjoyed her yardwork, walking and going to the Smokey Mountains. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Kaye Law, her parents, William T. and Katie Cook Allbritton and her eleven siblings. She is survived by two daughters, Denise (Donald) Dodson and Donna Richardson both of Lake City, Florida; two sons, David L. (John) Richardson of Port St. Lucie, Florida and Duane (Zena) Richardson of Lake City, Florida; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren also survive. A memorial service to honor the life of Mrs. Richardson will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, Dec. 4, in the Watertown Congregational Methodist Church with Rev. Randy Ogburn, Pastor, officiating.
