Rhonda Faye Adams-Cook was born November 18, 1960 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She was the 4th daughter born to Bobby Lee Adams and Louise McCray.
Rhonda known to most as, "Pooh" was educated in the Monroe and Detroit Public School systems. Once she completed her education, she found employment with Wolverine Packing Company, in Detroit, MI. Without a doubt, Pooh found enjoyment spending time with family and friends. Although, she didn't have any children of her own, she was a nurturer and gave a helping hand to" mothering" many. If she watched your child, you better believe they were rocked while listening to old school and new R&B. She didn't have a problem with disciplining and giving a few choice words, if needed. Some of "Pooh's" favorite pastimes were listening to music, cooking, cleaning, playing cards, dancing, and putting a smile on people's face. She was definitely the life of the party. In her later years, she met and married her husband of eleven years Frankie Cook.
Rhonda Faye Adams-Cook departed this life at 2:34 AM in ProMedica Monroe Hospital on October 27, 2021. She is proceeded in death by her parents, grandparents, several aunts and uncles, a special aunt Amanda "Aunt Sis" McCray, and a nephew Kellen "Scooter" Beavers.
A procession to Roselawn Memorial Park will immediately follow services.
