Mrs. Minnie June Campbell Brewster Shuler, age 79, of North Vernon, Indiana and formerly of Deputy and Paris Crossing entered this life on November 18, 1942 in Vernon, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of the late June and Louise Goodpaster Campbell. She was raised in the Commiskey community and attended school there. Minnie was united in marriage to Jack E. Brewster and this union was blessed with a daughter, Sheila. She was raised and a member of the First Church of God in Commiskey. After the death of Jack on April 9, 1976, she met Roy Oscar Shuler and they were married on February 18, 1977 in Springfield, Tennessee. Oscar and Minnie resided in Deputy and she worked in the cafeteria at Deputy Elementary School for 15 years. She also worked for the Jennings County Schools as well. Minnie was a charter member of the Solid Rock Community Church near Deputy. She loved reading her Bible, going to church, cooking delicious meals for others and being with her family. Minnie will be remembered for her loving and caring nature, signature laugh and beautiful smile. Minnie died on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at 8:22 p.m. at the Lake Pointe Village in Scottsburg, Indiana.

Minnie will be missed by her loving daughter, Sheila Righthouse of Paris Crossing, Indiana; her loving granddaughter, Brittney Hilton (Michelle) of Paris Crossing, Indiana, her loving grandson, Justin Righthouse (Shelby) of North Vernon, Indiana; her great grandchildren, Tyler Walp and Paisley Righthouse; her brothers in law and sisters in law, Pastor Mike Shuler and his wife, Angie of Deputy, Indiana, Roger Shuler and his wife, Thelma Jane of Lexington, Indiana, Bill Shuler and his wife, Joyce of Berea, Kentucky, Eugene Shuler and his wife, Georgene of Seymour, Indiana, David Shuler and his wife, Betty of Clay City, Indiana; Joyce Lamb of Deputy, Indiana, Ada Malcomb of Deputy, Indiana, Donna Shockley and her husband, Phil of Los Lunas, New Mexico, Kathleen Bowling of North Vernon, Indiana, Brenda Schmalz of Watseka, Illinois, Lois Bailey of Winchester, Kentucky, Geraldine Dillard and her husband, Earl of Austin, Indiana, Marilyn Burns of Winchester, Kentucky, Bernice Hogan of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Martha Shuler of Scottsburg, Indiana, and Bill Griffiths of Scottsburg, Indiana; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, June Campbell, died April 20, 1966, her mother, Louise Goodpaster Campbell, died September 5, 1979, her first husband, Jack E. Brewster, died April 9, 1976, her second husband, Roy Oscar Shuler, died December 14, 2010, her brothers, A.C. Campbell, died December 17, 1965, Ronnie Lee Campbell, died November 27, 1991, Robert E. Campbell, died October 9, 1985, James Campbell, and LeRoy Campbell, her sisters, Margaret Meece, died February 7, 1993, Zola Marie Matthews, died January 21, 1997, and Shirley Lewis.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 29, 2021, at 1:00 p.m., by Pastor Mike Shuler at the Solid Rock Community Church, 3203 N. Blanton Road near Scottsburg, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Vernon Cemetery in Vernon, Indiana.
VISITATION
Friends may visit Sunday from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana and Monday from 12:00 noon until the time of service at the Solid Rock Community Church, 3203 N. Blanton Road near Scottsburg, Indiana.
