Anthony J. Kosciuszko, 72, of Neshannock Township passed away the morning of September 21, 2021 at Good Samaritan Hospice of Heritage Valley.
Anthony was born in New Castle on July 19, 1949 to the late William S. and Clara A. Cipriano Kosciuszko.
On August 9, 1975 Anthony married his beloved wife, the former Diane R. Tutino. She preceded him in death on February 11, 2018.
Anthony had graduated from IUP, earned his Masters Degree from Slippery Rock University and graduated with his law degree from Ohio Northern University. In earlier years, Anthony had worked at George Washington Jr. High School as a History Teacher sharing his love of history with his students. As an attorney, he served Lawrence County as an Assistant District Attorney and also worked in the Public Defenders Office. Anthony retired in 2004 from his private law practice.
Anthony was an active member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church where he was an adult server and Eucharistic Minister.
Anthony enjoyed meeting his friends for coffee in the mornings at Dunkin Donuts. A loving father and brother, Anthony's greatest joy was the time he spent with his family.
Anthony is survived by his son, Jason Kosciuszko of New Castle, three brothers, Stanley M. Kosciuszko, William S. Kosciuszko, Jr., and Wayne R. Kosciuszko all of New Castle, and one sister, Annette Hutchison of Florida.
Visitation will be on Monday, September 27th, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Ed & Don De Carbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road.
A procession will leave the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:15 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church. Father Joseph McCaffrey, Pastor of Holy Spirit Parish will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
