Patsy was born August 22, 1955 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to William Ruffer Jarrell and Rosie Mae Jarrell (née Freeman).
Patsy was a loving wife, devoted mother and was affectionately known as the Banana Lady by many good friends. She was also called Grandma Tippytoes by her bonus granddaughter Abigail King whom she loved so very much.
Patsy devoted her life to God at an early age and truly had a servant's heart. She was a longtime member of Twin Pines Apostolic Church and rarely missed a service.
Patsy was not a complicated woman. Simple things brought her great pleasure. She loved cutting grass on her zero turn, fishing, gardening, and working in her flowerbeds. Patsy was loved by everyone who knew her. She never met a stranger. She was a rare soul whom everyone loved to be around. Patsy always had a smile on her face, joy in her heart and a praise on her lips.
Patsy is survived by her husband of 8 years Kevin R. Thibodeaux, her daughter Sharron A. Fountain (Parker), her Father R.W. Jarrell, her sisters, Carol Thomas and Rhonda Ray, her brother Pete Jarrell, her sister in laws Deborah Parker Reece and Melody Parker Neal, best friend Charlotte Taylor and bonus Son, Daughter and granddaughter Brad, Ashley and Abigail King and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Mother Rosie Mae Jarrell, her brother Denny Lawrence (Bud) Jarrell, her sister Peggy Joyce Jarrell and her first husband Robert (Bobby) Parker.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a wake and home going service at Twin Pines Apostolic Church 3304 Lampkin Rd, Moss Point, Ms. The wake will be Monday November 29, 2021 from 6-9 pm. The service will be Tuesday November 30, 2021 at 11am with visitation starting at 10 am with Rev. Troy Parker officiating. Burial will conclude with a short service and hymn at Serene Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers are: Troy Fountain, Billy Ray, Jared Shepherd, Buddy Smith and Brad King.
