Charles C Bliss, 95, Reynoldsville RD1, (Sandy Valley), died Friday, Sept. 19, 1975, in St. Petersburg.
Born in Jefferson County on Feb. 26, 1880, he was the son of William and Clara Shirey Bliss.
He had lived most of his life in the Reynoldsville area and was a retired miner.
Surviving are three daughters: Mrs. Nellie Ales, Reynoldsville RD1; Mrs. Mayme Shaffer, Reynoldsville RD1; and Mrs. Dorothy Hayes, Emlenton, RD3; a brother, Vernon Bliss, Apollo, nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Wayland Bliss, in 1968.
Funeral services were held Monday at the H. Laird Ober Funeral Home in Reynoldsville with the Rev. Francis Browne officiating. Burial was in the Sandy Valley Cemetery.
