Briana Lynn Harris, 33, of Zeigler, Illinois passed away at 5:51 p.m., Saturday, November 20, 2021 after a valiant fight with cancer at her home with her loving family and friends at her side.
Briana was born October 12, 1988 in Carbondale, Illinois to Tom and Vickie (Milam) Davis.
She married Bobby Harris February 27, 2012 in Marion. He survives in Zeigler.
Other survivors include a daughter, Makinley Harris and two sons, Mason and Michael Harris at home; her mother and step-father, Vickie and Barry Caldwell of Zeigler; her father and step-mother, Tom and Karen Davis of Carterville; two brothers, Josh and Jesse Davis of Carterville and four step-brothers, Nick and Joe Shelton and Barry Caldwell, Jr and Richard Buddy Caldwell and a step-sister, Kim Caldwell and several nieces, nephews and aunts and uncles.
Her maternal grandparents, Mickey and Jane Milam; paternal grandparents, Rev. Thomas and Phyllis Davis, Sr. preceded her in death.
She graduated Zeigler-Royalton High School with the class of 2007. She was a member of the Zeigler Eagles Lodge Auxiliary. She had worked at Dairy Queen in Christopher and as a home health care aid for Addus Home Health Care.
Funeral services for Mrs. Harris will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Vantrease Funeral Home in Zeigler with Pastor Jason Todd officiating. Burial will be at the Zeigler cemetery. Visiting hours are from 5 to 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home with Eagles Auxiliary Rites at 5:00 p.m.
A dinner will be held at the Zeigler Eagles Lodge following the services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Zeigler Eagles Auxiliary, 114 N. Main St., Zeigler, IL 62999.
