Ronald "Ronnie" Eugene Oliver went to be with his Lord and his family on Nov. 9, 2021, at his home in Bella Vista, Ark., with his wife Sue at his side. Ronnie was born July 8, 1959, in Muskogee, Okla., to Jim and Delores Oliver.
Ronnie grew up in Ft. Gibson, Okla., and attended OSU, Stillwater, Okla., GO POKES. Ronnie was saved while attending OSU and was baptized at Ft. Gibson First Baptist Church. He and Sue taught childrens church there for many years.
Ronnie and Sue owned and operated a cabinet shop in Muskogee, Okla. for several years and later moved their business to Ketchum, Okla., until their retirement earlier this year. Ronnie loved to fish and chose their retirement home because it was close to seven lakes.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Treasa Kay Oliver and Glen Oliver. Ronnie is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sue, aunt and uncle Sue and Larry Rainbolt of Ft. Gibson, Okla., 10 nieces and nephews, and many additional relatives.
The memorial service will be at 10 am Tues., Nov. 23, 2021, at Ft. Gibson [Okla.] First Baptist Church.
