Constance, "Connie" Lottier, 91, of Pembroke Pines, passed away peacefully at home after a long illness on December 12, 2018.

Connie was born in Brooklyn, NY to Edna and Tom Paskevich on October 21, 1927. She graduated from All Saint's High School in Williamsburg Brooklyn. On November 1, 1952 Connie married the love of her life, Richard Joseph Lottier. They raised three children, Elyse, Kathy and Richard Joseph Jr. in Brentwood Long Island. In 1973 they moved to Pembroke Pines, Florida. In 1978 Richard passed away, suddenly, and it rocked Connie to the core. She was strong and really began to thrive in 1981 when the first of her seven grandchildren were born. For the next 37 years her life revolved around her family - they were everything to her. Her family grew to include her beloved son-in-laws John Radice, Louis Bautista and Jose Diaz III and her beloved daughter-in-laws Christine Lottier and Angelica Bautista. Christine's parents Ruth and Pete Koman, Louis's mother Lila Maguina, Jose's mother and father Jose and Dulce Diaz and John's parents Rose and Frank and children Thomas and Tricia were long time cherished members of her extended family. She was always proud of the fact that even though there were some divorces everybody always remained family. Mom never played favorites but Louie Bautista remained a daily constant in her life and was more of a son than a son-in-law. I don't think she would ever forgive us if we did not make note of that fact.

Besides her children and son-in laws and daughter in laws, Connie is survived by seven grandchildren: Frank Radice and his wife Michelle; Jennifer Meece and her husband Justin; Heather Bautista and her partner Nicolas Rosado; Nicole Bautista, Richard Joseph Lottier III, Dylan Lottier, Jose (Joey) Diaz IV and Gaby Pachon. Justin's parents, Stephanie and Jerry Meece, became a part of her loving extended family as well.

"Big Mommy" as she was known to some of her grandkids is also survived by seven great-grandchildren - Alexis Calderon, Taylor Rosado, Michael Radice, Ava Radice, Makayla Meece, Nicolas Rosado and John Radice.

Connie is survived by her sister Patricia Connolly and Patricia's husband Thomas. Tom and Pat were snowbirds for many years and during the winter months they would stay with Connie, keeping her company, taking her out and about and making many repairs to her home. Every year she looked so forward to their visits because of the fun and companionship. Connie and Pat traveled the world for many years. Connie's children will be forever grateful for their presence in her life. Connie is also survived by her sister-in-law Tove Lottier. Connie was pre-deceased by her sisters Irene Moore and Ruth Paskevich, and her niece Karen as well as her sister in laws Alice Klein, Renee Denniston, Pat Lynch, her brother-in-law Paul Lottier and nephews Howard Klein, Robert Denniston, Michael Denniston and Kenneth Lottier. She is survived by her loving nieces and nephews Arthur and Joyce Klein, Arlene Klein, Kenny and Margie Klein, Lou-Ann and Kevin McDonough, Michael and Stephan Lottier, Tommy, Kathleen and Colleen Moore, Maureen Connolly, Barbara and Bill Comly, Tommy and Susan Connolly, Kevin and Julie Connolly and their families.

She spent the last 45 years in the same home in Pembroke Pines and she had many friends and neighbors who she loved, too many to name. The family would like to thank her next- door neighbors Chaz, Debbie, Ashley, Amber and Jaylee who were part of her extended family and who she loved very much. We never had to worry, particularly these last few years when she became ill and we will forever be grateful for that.

Visitation will be on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Fred Hunter Funeral Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL 33024.

A funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church at 11:00 AM, 2000 South State Road 7, Miramar, FL 33023. Burial will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Fred Hunter Funeral Home.

The family of Connie Lottier wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Vitas Hospice/Healthcare and the numerous staff who provided the most loving care to our mother. Dr. Mirza, Shirley, her nurse and case manager and Guirlene along with many, many aides and nurses who provided round the clock care in her last weeks. We couldn't have asked for more caring and loving people and will forever be grateful. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Make-A-Wish Foundation or the charity of your choice in her name.

She lived a long and wonderful life and was surrounded by her loving family until the end. Mom was one of a kind and while we are all broken by her loss we are comforted by the fact that "Honey and Dearie" as our parents affectionately referred to each other are together again in Heaven watching over all of us. Thanks for a wonderful life Mom and Dad! We love you.
