On Friday morning, after a short and painful illness, Mrs. S. A. Buford, wife of Col. N. B. Buford, of this city.
The funeral will take place from her late residence at 9 o'clock to-morrow (Monday) morning. All friends of the family are invited to attend.
Mrs. Buford was a most estimable lady. - She was beloved by all wwith whom she was acquainted. She was one of the most efficient and active members of the First Presbyterian church of this city. Her benevolence was proverbial. A large circle of relatives and friends deeply mourn her sudden, but imperative departure to another world. She died of pneumonia.
