Shirley Ann Phiffer, age 81, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. She was born April 16, 1940 in Colfax, Louisiana. She worked for many different companies in the Shreveport-Bossier area as a bookkeeper for over 25 years. Shirley loved reading books, traveling and spending time with her family. Her greatest joy in life was being with her sisters and her boys that were the world to her. Mimi, as she was affectionately known, liked to say, "I finally believe in UFOs!" She will be truly missed by those she showered with love.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Buel "Buddy" Phiffer, her son, Stanley Phiffer and her grandson, Christopher Phiffer. She is survived by her son, Steve Phiffer; grandsons, Stephen Kyle Cabrera and his wife Celina, Matthew Phiffer and Aaron Travis Phiffer; great grandson, Christopher Broly Phiffer; daughters-in-law, Anita Phiffer and Donna Phiffer.

A celebration of life at graveside for Shirley will be held Monday, November 22, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Centuries Memorial Park, 8801 Mansfield Road, Shreveport, Louisiana 71108. Bro. John Cocoris will be officiating the service. Honoring her as pallbearers will be Stephen Kyle, Matthew, Aaron Travis, Neyland Basco and Louis Carnline.
