Mineola-- Funeral services for Wayne O Mowrey, 60, of Temple, will be held 2 p.m.
Monday in the English Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James B Thompson
officating.
Burial will be Mineola City Cemetery.
Mr. Mowrey died Saturday afternoon in a Mineola hospital after apparent heart attack.
He was a retired retail merchant and a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S.
Air Force. He was a member of Baptist Church and a former resident of Alice.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Opal Mowery of Temple; one step son Ray Short of Mineola; his Father W.D. Mowrey of Stephenville; one brother Merle D Mowrey of Tampa Fla; four sisters, Mrs. Winnie Stoddard of Stephenville, Mrs. Gertrude Bryant of Port Aransas, Mrs. Lila Thomas and Mrs. Juanita Hullum, both of Roundrock; and two grand daughters.
Pallbearers will be Carl Walker, George Turner, Kenneth Wagner, Ernest Shipes, Virgil Peacock and Bill Dyess.
