Patsy Ann Nicholson Cheek, 46, wife of Sloan T. Cheek Jr., of [omitted[, Walhalla, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2001, at her residence.
A native of Oconee County, Mrs. Cheek was the daughter of Wade Nicholson and the late Maude Oakley Nicholson, and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her father and husband Mrs. Cheek is survived by a daughter, April Lusk, of Walhalla; a brother, John Oakley, of Walhalla; sisters, Lynn Johnson of West Union and Rosealee Tannery of Stanley, N.C.; and a grandson, [omitted].
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, 2001, in the chapel of Davenport Funeral Home, with burial following at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
The body is at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 p.m.
The family is at the residence.

Patsy was also the Aunt of Christopher 'Chris' E. Hunt, son of Brenda Elaine Cheek Hunt and Ed Hunt, Sr. Sloan, "S.T." Cheek is my 1st. brother in law and one that I will never forget.
