She graduated from Ysleta High School of El Paso and attended the University of Texas of El Paso, where she was awarded a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education on December 20, 1974, started her teaching career on January 6, 1975 at Ysleta ISD, where she taught for 33 years. Beatrice retired June 2008 to take care of their daughter Monica who became disabled due to an unfortunate event. Beatrice enjoyed reading mystery novels, crime books, history books and watching crime TV series. Most important of all was to take care of family and extended family.
Survived by her children, Beatrice Monica, April Dawn, Antonio II, and 5 grandchildren.
Preceded by her husband of 53 years, Antonio Renteria Campos and her parents.
