Doris Catherine "Kitty" Williams Howard, 86, beloved wife of Lewis Carl "LC" Howard, Sr., went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, November 13, 2021 at her residence.
Mrs. Howard was born the daughter of Andrew Jackson "Buster" Williams and Catherine Oliver Williams on July 14, 1935 in Georgetown.
She was a faithful member of the Georgetown Pentecostal Holiness Church for over 49 years where she served as a Sunday School teacher for 18 years. She enjoyed needle working and word puzzles. Her greatest love and pride was taking care of her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, caring sister, and a loyal friend.
Kitty and LC were married on March 24, 1951 and celebrated 70 years together. Their home was blessed with four children, Carolyn Louise Skipper (Isaac), Ronald "Ronnie" Eugene Howard (Debbie), Catherine Diane Moore (Bobby), and Lewis Carl Howard, Jr. (Lori); 10 grandchildren,.
She is also survived by: a sister, Barbara Kivett; a sister-in-law, Ann Williams; and a large number of nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by: her parents; two brothers, Robert Heyward Williams and Wayne Laverne Williams; a sister, Thelma Margarette W. Lambert; a granddaughter, Lucy Clark; and a great grandson, Ray Asher Lockliear.
A Home Going Celebration will be 2 PM, Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Georgetown Pentecostal Holiness Church. Officiating will be Pastor Greg Thompson. Interment directed by McKenzie Funeral Home will follow in the Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
The Howard family will receive family and friends 6-8PM, Tuesday evening, November 16, 2021 in the sanctuary of Georgetown PH Church.
