HARRY C. SCHURR, 66, Lima, died at 4:10 p.m. Oct. 12, 2005, at Beverly Health Care.

He was born July 17, 1939, in Findlay to Harry F. and Lucille L. "Sally" Herone Schurr, who preceded him in death. On Dec. 2, 1991, he married Isabelle E. Overstreet, who survives.

Mr. Schurr retired in 1983 as an electrician supervisor at Ford Motor Co. Lima Engine Plant, after 24 years. He was a member of Fort Amanda Back to Christ Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran. He enjoyed traveling and NASCAR races, with his favorite driver being Bill Elliot.

Survivors also include two sons, Bryan Schurr of Columbus and Chris Schurr of Lima; a daughter, Lisa Schurr of Asheville, N.C.; two half-brothers, Monty Southward and Danny Southward, both of Upper Sandusky; a grandson; and a sister in Christ, Beth Rau of Lima. He was preceded in death by a half- sister.

Services will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Lewis Chapel. The Rev. William Turner will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, with military rites by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1275.

Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's unit at Beverly Health Care.
