Services for Juanita Pearl Bennett Souders, 88, of Thomasville, Ga., were held May 15 at Cross Roads Fellowship. Her son Pastor Greg Souders officiated and interment took place in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla. Honorary pallbearers were Bob Drummond, Darrell Sinclair, Dale Mills, Cary Reed, David Highsmith, Scott Lewis and Jonathan Reed.

There will be a memorial service held at a later date in Whitefish during the summer. It will be announced at that time.

Mrs. Souders died May 13, at Archbold Medical Center. Born May 7, 1926, in Bartow, Fla., she was the daughter of the late Peter Marion Bennett and Ida Pearl Lynch Bennett.

On Nov. 20, 1953, in Washington D.C., she married James Oscar Souders who preceded her in death on May 24, 2003. She was a homemaker and a member of Crossroads Fellowship.

Survivors include a son, Greg Souders (Patricia) of Thomasville; a daughter, Pam Souders Rozell (Michael) of Whitefish; Five grandchildren, and Two great-grandchildren, a brother, Robert Bennett of Melborne, Fla.; and a sister-in-law, Millie Souders Bell of Silver Springs, Md.; and aunt, Lois Bennett Poling.
