My heart is broken. I've lost my precious mother; my greatest friend and life's blessing. Together we have laughed, learned, cried and relied upon one another as we always knew we could. We will be forever bound and until we joyfully meet again, I will miss you dearly and hold your beautiful memories in my grateful heart. Always and forever, you are loved.

Ellie was the nickname I used for most of the past 27yrs that I had with My Mother-In Law Elsie Eberz
She was one of my "5-Favorite Girls " she was pretty proud and would light up every time I would remind her !

I have 1000's memories - A few my favorites are , we took her and George ( Husband) to Key West to celebrate their 50th Anniversary!

Our Family Xmas Cruise (2012)
I loved watching her face as we pulled into port for all the places we would visit.
She would tell me " Not Bad for a girl from Chicago " ....

She will always be one of the True Loves of my lifetime!
She promised to send me a " Sign" that she is all settled in "UP There"
I am not worried cause I know and am sure she is cleaning up and painting her new room Blue & Yellow.
Love you xo

Elsie S. Eberz was more than just a grandmother to me. She was that special person who I could spent all day with, and never worry about the time of day or the tasks ahead. That was one of the many best traits of my grandmother, for she had that type of personality that that would just grab your attention and keep you there in your seat as she shared her thoughts and ideas with you. The best part was that she was always honest about her thoughts and ideas, and was never afraid to express them. Elsie Eberz would come to be the only grandparent that I would really get to know over the years as I aged to adulthood. In those years, I came to know of the person that she was and came to enjoy the many memories we shared together. Memories of me sneaking over to her house in the early weekend mornings to watch morning cartoons with her as she ate her breakfast. Watching English comedy shows with her on weekend nights, laughing together until our stomaches hurt. Sneaking fresh-baked sugar cookies in my mouth when her back was turned. Working on puzzles together until our eyes got sore. Through the many good days and the few bad days, I never regretted the time I spent with my grandmother. My twin sister and I came to really love our grandmother, and were ever proud of the fact that we were her grandchildren. I will miss my grandmother tremendously, and will probably never look at a puzzle box again without the feelings of sadness and longing for her company. I am however, eternally grateful for the times I got to know Elsie Eberz, and I am ever so happy and blessed to be given the chance to be one of her grandsons. In my last phone call with her, I told my grandma that I do not believe in "farewells" and "good-byes". I only believe in "see you laters". Until we meet again, I love you Grandma Eberz. You will forever be in my heart

God took home on of his most beautiful angels.
My Grandma was the only grandparent I had growing up.
She made sure to give me enough love to make up for all of my grandparents who couldn't stay.
Because of this, me and my siblings never felt like we missed out on that special love from a grandparent.
Grandma always supported me, was interested in my life and made sure I knew I was loved.
She came to every performance since I started acting and singing and saved every ticket and program.
Grandma, because of you I am who I am. Because of you, I can stand proudly … proud of my eyes that reflect yours, my voice,
my height, my very soul, all of who I am stems from the same source as yours.
I am me because your mother and father were brave and immigrated to America from their homeland, Sweden.
I am who I want to be because you gave birth to my momma. You labored and loved. You sacrificed. You gave.
I may have only been graced with 30% Scandinavian blood, but I am so proud of it that it almost hurts.
My love and pride in being your granddaughter cannot be contained in just my heart; it courses through my entire being, flowing
into my very soul, creating an aura all around me.
I will hold dearly to the pictures of us and those that have been passed down through our generations. These are worth more to me than riches and gold. One day, I promise my children will learn of you and see all that you were in me. They will hold your pictures to their hearts and through my stories, will love you as much as I do.
Family is not always based on blood, but for me the blood of my ancestors is a treasure like no other.
You are a part of me, as I am a part of you.
We are connected.
I will always have you in my heart, mind and soul.
Grandma, I will love you far beyond my last breath. I love you more xox
