Harry Wallace Montgomery, age 84 of Gatlinburg, TN passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021.
Harry was a retired former Chief of Gatlinburg Police Department. He loved his family very much. Harry loved sports and set state records in both basketball and football in 1956. He was also an avid golfer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Anita Luther Montgomery; parents, Wal and Icephene Montgomery; brother, Bruce Reece Montgomery (Bettye); sister, Geraldine Montgomery Glover (Ed)
His survivors include his son, Harry Wallace Montgomery II "Monty"; daughter, Angelia Denise Montgomery of Gatlinburg, TN; grandson, Elijah Blake Harmon of Gatlinburg, TN; nieces and nephews, Sharon Dill of Alexandria, LA, Wayne Glover (Cindy) of Lawrenceville, GA, Greg Glover and wife Pam of Atlanta, Ga, Cathy Montgomery (Chuck) of Knoxville, TN, and Steve Leo and wife Tammy of Sevierville, several great nieces and nephews.
