Services for Mrs. Nora Brasher Franks, 63, wife of W. E. Franks of near Lambert, were held Thursday at 2 p. m. at the Walnut Baptist Church. Burial was in Coahoma Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Franks died Wednesday morning in Coahoma County Hospital after a long Illness.
She was born in Houlka and had lived in this area for 50 years. Besides her husband survivors are three sons, Darion Franks and Billy L. Franks of Cleveland, and J. D. Franks of Lambert; a daughter, Mrs. Raymond Birdsong of Batesville; a brother, Buford Brasher of Clarksdale; three sisters, Mrs. Vaudie Stark of Memphis, Mrs. Granvil Bryant of California, and Mrs. Elvis Ivy of Lambert.
