Crea was 88 when he left us and went to be with his Lord and Savior. Crea was a veteran of the United States Army. He was in the retail furniture business for 63 years. He went to work for H&H Furniture when he was 17 years old and bought the Badcock Furniture store in Plant City in 1969. He worked there until the age of 80. He loved helping others and loved working with his customers. Crea graduated from Plant City High School in 1951 where he played football. He was a member of the Southwest Conference Championship team. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Louise Miley Beauchamp; mother, Fannie Claire Beauchamp; father, Johnnie Horace Beauchamp; and
brother, Clinton Beauchamp. He is survived by his children, Shirley Beauchamp Johnson (Howard), and Johnnie Beauchamp (Krista); grandchildren, Kasey Johnson, Kellie Johnson Kabrich (Kyle), Tommy Johnson, Stacy Beauchamp, Philip Beauchamp (Cait), and Brooklyn Beauchamp Decosta (Anthony); great grandchildren, Bryson, Jamison, and Dawsen; sister, Betty Jean Felty (Jack); and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held, November 12 at Hopewell Funeral Home, The family wishes to thank the many loyal customers of Badcock Furniture over the years. He enjoyed his career because of you, and you held a special place in his heart.
