Funeral service for Phyllis Colleen Shelton age 82, of Roosevelt, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Frederick with Rev. Diane Steigar and Perry Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain Park Cemetery under the direction of Jackson Funeral Home. Mrs. Shelton passed away at her home in Roosevelt.

Phyllis Colleen (Killian) Shelton was born October 31, 1938, in Mountain Park, Oklahoma to Paul Bless Mark and Maudie Mae (Baldwin) Killian. She attended Mountain Park Public Schools. On January 27, 1957, she and Jimmie Ray Shelton were united in marriage at Manitou, Oklahoma.

He preceded her in death on May 19, 1988. Phyllis's family were her pride and joy, she enjoyed dancing and was a wonderful cook. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mountain Park.

She is survived by her three daughters, Tammy Phares and her husband Scott of Mountain Park, Oklahoma, Rhonda Ward of Roosevelt, Oklahoma, and Tonia Shelton of Roosevelt, Oklahoma; one brother, Charles Killian and his wife Ann of Mountain Park, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Melissa Melton and her husband Bill, Crystal Sampson and her husband Danny, Paul Shelton, Chasity Yates and her husband Joe, Amy Shelton, and Heather Harmon and her husband Chance; twelve great-grandchildren, Marissa Melton, Noah Shelton, Trevor Sampson, Trenton Sampson, Tessa Sampson, Danielle Sampson, Brenli Sampson, Journey Sampson, Henry Harmon, Huxley Harmon, Destiny Yates, and Paige Yates; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, other family members, and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Maudie Killian; her husband, Jimmie Ray Shelton, Sr.; two sons, Mark Allen Shelton and Jimmie Ray Shelton, Jr.; her son-in-law, Tracy Ward; two sisters, Leota Linton and Pauline Roberts; and six brothers, Leon Killian, R.B. Killian, Alfred Stanley Killian, her twin brothers, Willie and Willis Killian, and Max Killian.
