She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Nelson; parents, A.D. and Lillian Prestridge; brothers, Edward Prestridge and J.A. Prestridge; sisters: Annie Paul Norris, Alta Mae Buchanan, and Melda Green; and grandsons, Chris and Chad Nelson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 9:30 am – 11:00 am at the Double Springs Church of Christ, where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. Lois is survived by her daughters, Marie (Kenneth) Overton, and Peggy Nelson; sons, Larry Nelson, and William Nelson; grandchildren, Tanya Mathis, Tim Overton, Shannon James, Kevin Cordell, Traci Gill, and Anthony Nelson; 17 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and sister, Betty Humphries.
